Wimba Pronto – http://www.wimba.com/products/wimba_pronto Allows for an academic institution to create a learning network with the use of instant messaging.

LinkedIn – http://www.linkedin.com A social networking site for people in professional occupations.

Twitter – http://twitter.com This is used as a social networking service and microblogging.
